WoW Classic Alterac Valley Battleground Guide

The WoW Classic Alterac Valley Battleground is the largest of the World of Warcraft Classic Battlegrounds. There are a number of repeatable quests associated with Alterac Valley that are accepted and completed while within the battleground instance. In addition to providing reputation, these quests also provide troops and troop upgrades once enough resources have been tued in. Generally these quests are only worth completing during longer Alterac Valley matches to tu the tide of battle. These items will disappear upon leaving the battleground instance.

Alterac Valley is a massive, 40 vs 40 PvP Battleground, where your goal is to eliminate the other faction's leader: Vanndar Stormpike for Horde Icon H players, and Drek'Thar for Alliance Icon A players. In order to accomplish this goal, players will need to work on sub-objectives, such as destroying the other faction's Towers and Bunkers, which will cause the enemy leader to become much weaker, or capturing enemy Graveyards, which will stop enemies from being able to resurrect there, while allowing your team to resurrect there instead. There are also other side objectives, such as killing the enemy Captains and tuing in Blood, Medals, Armor and Flesh, Mounts (Wolves / Rams), and Supplies, in order to make your troops stronger, or spawn a raid boss for your team.
